Annabel Chapman spent most of January at tournaments in the South Island. She started at the Wanaka Junior Open finishing runner up in the 14s Singles and doubles (they had to withdraw from the doubles finals when her partner got injured sadly). Then onto the Queenstown Junior Open where Annabel won the 16s singles and finished runner up in the doubles. Change of Plans The team have agreed to defer the effort to remove the old Astro turf on Courts 1&2 until the following weekend to Sunday 13th February 2022. The Tiger Turf team are due to start the replacement of the turf on Monday 14th February 2022 subject to weather conditions - it needs to be dry and not too windy The key reason for the deferral of this effort is due to the need to have as many "hands on deck” on the day as it is a mammoth task. Stage One of our men's changing rooms refurbishing project is now complete. The old toilets and urinals have been removed, and two new toilets, urinals and basins have been installed, the floor has been tiled and the changing rooms are looking great! Stage Two is the showers; where the floor will be re-tiled, four partitions installed, and shower heads replaced.
