Junior Club Champs 2010
Congratulations to all players who took part!
On Saturday 17th April, events from 8 & Under upto 18 & Under were hotly contested at the Cambridge Racquets Club!!
A fine day of play saw outstanding performances with notable performances from:
- Paddy Cameron - off the back of some fine performances in regional tournaments, Paddy won the 14s boys title and 14s boys doubles and then took back to back victories over 18 year olds Ross Laidlaw and Jarrod Dick in the 18s Boys Competition to win the Bax Cup.
- Marizka Oberholzer - also won the 14s girls title, 14s girls doubles and then went on to win the 18 & Under trophy as well, all at the age of 13!
- Josh Hill - the 7 year old dynamo was all over the court as he made a winning start in the 8 & Unders before delighting the crowd with a vocal run through to the semi-finals of the 10 & Unders.
The future looks bright for the Racquets Club with these young guns coming through!
