Tennis
- We are currently the only stockist of Babolat Rackets and string in Cambridge. Babolat is a world renowned French brand, used by Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick and many of the other top pros. Come and view the racket range or try out a demo racket at one of our club evenings (Tues or Friday)
Any brand of racquet can be ordered in to test or buy. The Rafael Nadal racket (Babolat Aero Pro Drive - is currently the most popular racket in New Zealand!!!)
- We have the best selection of mini/junior tennis racquets in Cambridge. Expect expert advice on the right sized racket for your child, so that they can enjoy the sport to the max!
- Tennis shoes are stocked and your size can be ordered in within 1-2 days.
- Babolat Grips, overgrips, dampeners and strings stocked - all at competitive prices.
- Babolat Kid - mini tennis balls - perfect to get kids on the court and into long and successful rallies. As used by Grasshoppers Tennis Coaches across the country!
Squash
- Head, Black Knight and Prince Squash Rackets are stocked with demos of every model to try out!
- Single and double dot squash balls are on sale
- Karakal grips
- Squash shoes available (adult and junior) and your size can be ordered in within 1 - 2 days if it is not in stock.
- We stock the most popular Tecnifibre 305 1.3mm string and Prince Synthetic Gut. Restring prices start from $40.
Next Day Restringing Service
- We offer a high quality, reliable restringing service, keeping a 'stringing log' of all our customers so we can easily refer to how you usually have your racquet strung, with what string, and also any changes that you or we might recommend.
- No matter how old your racket, it can be given a new lease of life just by having a restring!! As a general rule, you should restring your racket as many times you play a week per year (e.g. if i play 3 times a week I should have my racket restrung at least 3 times!). From the moment strings are put in, they begin to lose tension, which is why you will see some pros have their rackets restrung almost every day! Consider treating your racket today as no matter how nice the racket is, its the strings which hit the ball!
- For tennis we stock premium Babolat strings which are used by the majority of the tour Pros. Prices start at $40 including labour. Head Coach Ian Bishop uses Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour
- For squash we stock Tecnifibre and Prince strings. Prices start from $40 including labour.
